No. Passports are issued by the U.S. Department of State and are taking much longer to receive than they did before the pandemic.

Yes or no. It depends. If you are a U.S. citizen and are booked on a round-trip cruise from a U.S. port, returning to that same U.S. port, then you do not have to have a passport (though it is always recommended in case of an emergency) as long as you have a certified copy of your birth certificate. A passport is required in all other circumstances.
A passport book is required for international air and cruise travel. A passport card is only useful if you are driving across the U.S. border.
